Fix Lenovo Wi-Fi connection issues in Windows 11 or Windows 10.
Solutions
1. Check that Wi-Fi is on and Airplane mode is off. In Windows 11, try the Network and Internet troubleshooter in Get Help; Windows 10 has Network troubleshooter under Settings > Network & Internet > Status.
2. Restart the laptop and router. Restarting the router temporarily disconnects other users.
3. Forget the network and reconnect only when you have its password available.
4. Check the Wi-Fi driver for your exact model. Before uninstalling the adapter driver, save a compatible Lenovo driver locally for offline installation. For repeated disconnections, also review adapter power management in Microsoft’s guide.
5. Use Network reset only after simpler checks fail. Windows 11: Settings > Network & internet > Advanced network settings > Network reset. Windows 10: Settings > Network & Internet > Status > Network reset. This removes adapters and their settings, then reinstalls adapters after restart. VPN software or virtual switches may need reconfiguration, and network profiles may become Public.
